The FDA wants to ban the import and sale of “electronic” cigarettes in the United States as “unsafe” and “unapproved drugs.” Please sign the petition to the FDA at the following URL: www.thepetitionsite.com Banning e-cigarettes will do MORE harm than allowing them to be used as a quiiting aid or as a substitute for smoking carcinogenic tobacco products. Its all about money and power. The fact that it works as a subsitute for real cigs is the government’s worst nightmare because they need those sin taxes. The e-cig produces water vapor for Christ’s sake, as if cigarettes are a healthier alternative.

What about all the dietary supplements that highlight this detail: “this statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.” For example, Omega 3 fish oil pills at Wal-Mart. Fuck these Info-tainment bastards and their inability to recognize new and relevant products–regulators CAN make money off of this!

i’d be inclined to believe this has something to do with the tobacco industry because they stand to lose a lot of business if this thing catches on so they want to give this product a bad stigma. it sounds a little like conspiracy theory, but until this was released, the tobacco industry really didn’t have any competition for business. i don’t support or endorse this product, but i think the controversey over it is ludicrous

Dont believe everything you here form the FDA. Teh cartridges that are sold with the e cigs let you pick the amount of nicotine. It goes from high which is 18mg to low which is like 6mg depending on the brand you buy. Damn the FDA.

I LOVE smoking OK? 38 years now, knew I should quit but oh well it’s my life right? Tried ecigs 3 days ago…I haven’t had a ‘real’ cig since! No nasty smoke, no ahtrays( and ash) and I enjoy it! Cool taste, hit of nicotine which IS FDA approved…And it’s fun! Never thought I could say smoking was fun, but vaping is! Try it people before you bash it!

It’s been proven that authentic, real tobacco-based (GMO) cigarettes are safer than e-cigarettes made in China. Please don’t inhale any product that is not endorsed or fall within safety minimums of the US Food & Drug Administation.
Using dangerous e-cigarettes not only harms you and traditional Virginian tobacco growers, it hurts tabacco lobbyists who help US family farms thrive and thereby further reduces our government’s tax revenue otherwise levied on America’s 3rd most importaint industry.
